Milk

Milk is a quiet café located in the nook of the Gothic Quarter. It was established in 2005 by an Irish couple; Milk has made a name for itself as a premium cocktail bar in Barcelona.

This humble café offers a serene and delectable breakfast with a unique twist. The basic name is complimented by a diverse and creative menu that some would avoid. But others, like adventure seekers or foodies like myself, jump at the intrigue.

With a variety of teas across the world, they are interested in creating a sensational experience from the first bite to finish. Their take on pancakes is a unique one, combining pistachios with bananas gives the foodie a wordless experience. They use locally selected produce purchased daily from the famous Boqueria market in their creations. The menu changes seasonally, with the produce and with it so do the wine options. Always providing you with the perfect pairing.

Not only is the food fantastic but the plush hand made sofas, flirtatious pillows, antique chandeliers and 50’swallpaper by designer Florence Broadhurst. Milk provides a welcoming vibe to all its customers and combines classic foods with a creative twist.  If you enjoy flavorful and cozy food, this is a definite go.
